With the increase of "smash & grabs" taking over the country, the demand for protection is rising, whether it be home security, commercial or industrial (see A Current Affair here).
If you are looking for security for your glass windows and doors, here is what you need to know.
About our security film.

What classifies a window film as Security Film?
When we talk in terms of Security Films, we often refer to the thickness.. For example, our security film comes in 4 mil, 7 mil, 8 mil, 12 mil and 15 mil. A 4mil film does NOT mean 4 millimetres, it actually means 4 millionths of an inch thick.
Which type of security film do I need?
Please refer to the following as a guide to what you need:
Home - 4 Mil - In the home, 4 mil clear safety film will generally protect a child who stumbles into a glass door or smashes a ball through the window pane. A 5 mil safety film is also available as a frosted privacy film, combining your security AND privacy needs in one film.
Commerce - In downtown areas or commercial districts where there is a high concentration of glass-fronted buildings or shop windows, the threat of vandalism, robbery or terrorist attack demand the high level of protection provided by 7, 8, 12 and 15 mil safety films.
Industrial - For buildings in the shadow of potentially explosive sites such as oil refineries, gas tanks and construction areas, SafetyZone 7, 8, 11, 12 and 15 mil security films offer increased protection.
Catastrophe - In regions where the potential for damage originates from the threat of natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, severe storms or earthquakes, SafetyZone 12 or 15 mil security films can help save lives.
